Receptionist and Quoting Support (Cincinnati, OH)
Position Summary
This is a dual role as both a receptionist for Cornerstone and quoting support for the employee benefits department. The receptionist is the voice and face of Cornerstone and is responsible for setting the tone for first-impression encounters. Quoting supports the employee benefits department with proposal development activities, team communications, and document control of all solicitation and proposal documents, templates, and forms associated with proposal development and production.
Essential Functions:
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Sign for and deliver mail and packages.
- Sort incoming mail and assist with outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain and order building supplies for the breakroom and office as needed.
- Greet visitors (maintain welcome board).
- Maintain lobby and breakroom areas and notify building management as needed.
- Assist in setting up media and conference rooms for trainings, meetings, and classes.
- Support and assist the development of company goals, initiatives, and growth objectives.
- Review Request for Proposals (RFPs) to understand and confirm group demographics, home zip code, smoking status, plan and carrier profiles, broker/agency instructions, tax ID numbers, etc. Follow up with broker as required for missing or incomplete information.
- Process RFPs to include new quotes, re-quotes, prescreens, and ancillary. Process alternate requests for renewals. Process individual quotes for comparison with group rates as requested.
- Log all group quote activity into our agent benefit database.
- Deliver standard quotes timely and accurately and track turnaround time.
- Provide support to the employee benefits department as needed.
- Participate in all carrier product meetings and training to gain a base of product knowledge of all carriers served in order to make plan recommendations in alternative or re-quote process
Education/Experience: Associates degree or equivalent work experience in data entry, customer service, insurance, banking, etc.
Specific Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong data entry and Excel skills
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment with little supervision
Specialized knowledge, licenses, designations, etc.:
- Active Life and Health insurance license not required, but strongly encouraged.

Quoting Specialist (Cincinnati, OH)
Position Summary
Responsible for supporting the Employee Benefits Department with proposal development activities, team communications, and document control of all solicitation and proposal documents, templates, and forms associated with proposal development and production.

- Process incoming proposal requests to include new quotes, re-quotes, prescreens and ancillary. Process alternate requests for renewals. Process individual quotes for comparison with group rates as requested.
- Review RFPs (Request for Proposals) to understand and confirm group demographics, home zip code, smoking status and plan and carrier profiles, Broker/Agency instructions, Tax ID numbers, etc. Follow up with broker as required for missing or incomplete information.
- Log all group quote activity into our agent benefit database.
- Deliver standard quotes timely and accurately and track turnaround time.
- Provide support to the Employee Benefits Department as needed.
- Maintain pertinent carrier relations as it relates to New Business.
- Maintain a base of product knowledge of all carriers served in order to make plan recommendations in alternative or re-quote process.
- Serve as project coordinator as needed.
- Participate in all carrier product training.
Education/Experience: Associates Degree or equivalent work experience in data entry, customer service, etc.
Specific Skills:
