Reminder: Important Transitions for Existing SDC Groups Begin With April Renewals
Starting in April, important transitions will take effect for existing SDC groups as a result of integrating their data with their parent company’s systems. At renewal, groups will receive a new invoice from Medical Mutual and will be converted to Medical Mutual’s payment schedule and terms. Members will receive new ID cards with new group and member ID numbers.
Communications
At the end of December, groups renewing in April received an eblast with information on what to expect at renewal. A letter including the renewal and contract amendment was sent by certified mail to these groups this week.
Throughout the year, SDC will continue to send communications to existing groups starting approximately three months prior to their renewal. No changes will be made for groups until their renewal. New sold groups effective in April or later will be implemented with the new processes.
